Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 10:30 am–9 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Somoora Cafe at (336) 663-7070; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

On Google it holds a rating of 5.0 out of 5 from 14 reviews, which is a strong result for a cafe in Greensboro and suggests consistent service.

Greensboro is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Greensboro follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

WOW! A great place to grab a quick bite, meet up with a friend, or bring your laptop to work/study. I got the Peach Danish and baklava, both delicious. Excited to return and try the coffee. Amazing atmosphere as well!

My husband and I just tried the flight and I am blown away: two of the teas had mint, so I did not think I would like them, but now they're all I can think; the coffee with cardamom was what my earl grey wishes it could be; and the karak was frothy and flavorful. Such a thoughtful thing to have on the menu, and an easy way to try new things. My husband's matcha latte was poured in beautiful layers to showcase the rich matcha flavor, but he stirred it up halfway through and I swear it tasted like green tea ice cream after that. So good. My nutella latte was perfectly balanced - I could taste the nutella as well as the coffee, and it was sweet enough to feel like a treat, but not so sweet that I felt guilty about it lol We tried 2 kunafas which were very different from each other and could not pick a favorite. The orangey one has cheese hiding at the bottom that gives it a really satisfying texture. I tried it with and without the syrup and liked it both ways - a little savory or a little sweet. The plain one was sweet without adding anything to it, and I could probably eat it every day and not get tired of it. They also have the typical danishes and croissants, but we wanted to tr

Somoora cafe has the best chai around and the baristas are fantastic. The artwork in the cafe was done by local artists and looks amazing. I go at least twice a week for the chai and haven’t had an experience that was anything other than great. Highly recommend you give it a try.

Every drink I’ve had from here has been delicious, especially the matcha! Love the vibrant green color, I can tell it’s good quality. I also love the vibe of the cafe, cute and cozy with great artwork. I will definitely be back!
